Every Chinese company has a business licence carrying an 18-character unified social credit code. Check it on the official National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System: the Chinese name and code must match, the company must be active, and its business scope must cover your product. Factory or trading company?
A trading company is not a bad choice, but you need to know. A video factory visit (€79) or an on-site audit (€349) settles the question.
Secure your payment
- The beneficiary account must belong to the contracting company — never an individual or another company.
- Treat any change of bank details by e-mail as suspicious and confirm it by phone or video.
- Pay about 30% deposit and the balance after a successful inspection.
