Shandong province is a major industrial hub: tyres, agricultural machinery, appliances, textiles and wood products. Suppliers in Jinan, Weifang or Yantai usually ship via Qingdao.
Qingdao port (Qianwan terminal) offers direct sailings to Northern Europe. The Jiaozhou multimodal terminal sends trains to Europe and Central Asia. Air freight leaves from Qingdao Jiaodong (TAO) or Shanghai.

Our advice
- Tyres and heavy parts quickly reach the weight limit: check the 20ft payload before booking.
- Wood products must be treated (ISPM 15 for pallets, fumigation if required).
- Transit is 2 to 4 days longer than from Shanghai: build it into your planning.
