Plan around the season
For a spring-summer collection, orders usually ship between January and March: sea freight works if production finishes early enough, otherwise rail saves two weeks. Air freight covers urgent restocking.

Duties and compliance
Clothing is generally subject to 12% customs duty plus VAT. Items must comply with REACH (azo dyes, heavy metals) and carry a composition label. Counterfeit branded goods are seized at the border.
Clothing: generally 12%; fabrics: often 8%. Plus 20% VAT.
