Shenzhen is the heart of Chinese electronics manufacturing: phone accessories, connected devices, LEDs, drones, small appliances, as well as packaging and homeware. Most suppliers are in Bao'an, Longgang and neighbouring Dongguan.
The city has two major container terminals, Yantian in the east and Shekou in the west, with direct sailings to Northern Europe several times a week. For air freight we use Shenzhen Bao'an airport (SZX) or Hong Kong (HKG), about an hour away by truck.

Our advice
- For products with lithium batteries, request the MSDS and UN38.3 test when ordering: both are required for air and sea.
- Shenzhen suppliers often sell ex-works: our local pickup costs €45 up to 300 kg.
- Before Chinese New Year, capacity out of Yantian tightens: book 3 to 4 weeks ahead.
